Punk Rock Flea Market Saturday, July 26
Come join us as Sketching Details and Crafts by Carolyn kick off the Halloween season at the Punk Rock Flea Market.

I've been quite busy this month.
Besides summer school, prep for the fall, and general life and business management, I've been cramming for weeks to be ready for the Punk Rock Flea Market at the Edison Convention Center in NJ this Saturday, July 26. This event is one day, from 10AM to 5PM, and is huge. There will be vendors, a food truck festival, DIY workshops, and even piercers and tattoo artists on site.
And then there's me. Well, my mom and me. We'll be there with our arts and crafts, as well as my books for sale. I have some brand new art toys I'm super excited to debut at the show inspired by childhood fears. I also have a brand new character teasing a big project coming in the fall. Stay tuned for a new game.
So I've been busy. I've been sculpting, printing, priming, painting, and assembling so many new pieces to kick off the Halloween offerings. I'm working on a blacklight display shelf for my myriad of glowing pieces. No, I don't know why setting up a blacklight did not occur to me before. I'm a haunter. That should've been step 1 of any display I did.
I'm finally getting print copies of Tick: A Short Musical finished. I'm, sadly, not quite there for physical copies of the sheet music collection, but those will be available by October. I also have copies of all the fiction and non-fiction collections ready to go, including my first batch of new prints from Draft2Digital. I hate the price increase but I love the quality. Highly recommend.
If this weekend goes well, I have some big plans coming up. If not, I still have other plans, just not necessarily unleashing my evil toymaker fantasies just yet.
All the info for the Punk Rock Flea Market is at their website. Hope to see you there.
