January Updates

I have a backlog of things to post. It's hard to commit the time when the world is genuinely a scary place right now.

To be clear:
*I am pro-human rights, anti-summary execution in the streets with no cause
*I believe no one is illegal on stolen land
*I believe that diversity should be embraced and protected, not eradicated
*I am pro-LGBTQIA2S+ rights
*I am pro-disability rights
*I am a feminist
*I believe in actual equality
*And I believe that what's happening right now in the United States is horrifying on the level of entering history books as a dark chapter in the near future

While horror, fantasy, and sci-fi are inherently political genres, this is not directly a political site. It is, however, the site of a person who is horrified by the state of this country right now.

I need a clear head and time to go back to vibing with reviews of films like Primate and Frankenstein and No Other Choice. Criticism is important, but it's not more important than my own mental wellbeing. I will get back there soon. It needs to feel right to me again.
