A Symphony of Your Own Destruction
Announcing my debut horror poetry collection A Symphony of Your Own Destruction, available October 24.

I have so many wondrous things to share with you this Halloween season.
The first surprise was the demo for An Artist's Way Out, my new dungeon crawling, art collection, roll and write adventure game on itch.io.
Up next is the newest entry in the Extra Intent universe. A Symphony of Your Own Destruction: A Collection of Horror in Verse is my debut horror poetry collection.
Amy, aka A.ni.mey, is the piano-playing online streamer from the Extra Intent novella. What really happens during a live stream where the creator is being controlled by the spirit in a haunted piano? This collection explores the secrets behind the most popular music streamer in the world.
From the back cover:
The life of a live streamer can be a lot of work. Compound that by your live stream being an ever-changing music performance conducted through you by a haunted piano and you might not want to go live ever again. Yet your livelihood, your fans, and the muse that controls you demands it.
A Symphony of Your Own Destruction is a new original poetry collection by weird fiction author Robert J Gannon, continuing the story of world famous streamer Amy, aka A.ni.mey, from the Extra Intent universe. What goes through the mind of a brilliant artist with no control over her talent? How do the colored lights and chalk change the story? And why are fans so...controlling?
I am so incredibly proud of this collection. Much like An Artist's Way Out was the natural solution to a story that needed to be told, A Symphony of Your Own Destruction is the solution to ideas I want to tackle in horror that need more...oomph to come alive. Poetry lets me design the beat down to the syllable so you can feel what I'm going for.
A Symphony of Your Own Destruction comes out on all digital platforms as an eBook, paperback, and audiobook October 24. Here's the preorder page for all the eBooks. More are being added daily as the files finish processing. Fingers crossed: I might have pre-release physical copies available for the Dark Oddity Festival at the Edison Convention Center next weekend, October 18.
I'm excited for you to see A.ni.mey cast her spells in verse.
